What is Feng Shui?
Feng means Wind. Shui means Water; Wind and Water. Its’ name is a metaphor for our environment and man’s interaction with that environment. Feng Shui believes that all things are alive with Qi, a life force that affects each person. Qi can be Sheng – positive, or Sha – negative and can transport all five senses; sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste, to new heights or deep lows. Qi can flow around objects, through objects, and is in every breath we breathe.
Good Feng Shui is walking into your home and being enveloped by love and support, no matter the circumstances or the people within it. When directed it can enhance lifeforce, wealth, and relationships. People intuitively know when walking into a room whether it flows right, feels right, or is stale. This feeling and instinct are the basics of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui breaks Qi down into three types; the Solar System (Heaven Qi), the environment around us (Earth Qi), and one’s birth date (Human Qi).
Ancient scholars and monks called Feng Shui - “Kan Yu”, which means “Raise the head and observe the sky above, lower the head and observe the environment around us.” This practice of observation for centuries led to a mathematical system, that interprets the flow of Qi into codes of energy, that we call “Flying Stars”. The Flying Stars takes into account the Heaven and Earth Qi by using a compass reading and the date of construction of your home to mathematically determine the specific codes of energy for your home and how it affects you and your family on a day to day level.
Why Feng Shui?
Feng Shui will not change your life’s destiny, ie make you rich and famous when it was never in the cards, but it will change your luck, improve your life-force, health, relationships, and finances. It can bring deeper peace into your life, help you attract romance, and improve your chances at the promotion you’ve been working on.
